Japan: Four Months Later
Four months after the one of worst natural disasters in modern history, Japan’s northeastern coast is still recovering. In places like the Fukushima prefecture, new grass grows between piles of uncollected debris. In coastal towns like Sendai, workers are still reconstructing graveyards. But progress is being made. Volunteers – both local and global – are doing all they can, with everything from bulldozers to garden gloves, to restore Japan’s coastal community.
